I believe in the many positive aspects of team participation of baton twirling. Working with my wife June, we have built a studio of over 275 athletes of all ages and skill levels. Majorette groups are ideal for these students as these disciplines focus on proper technique, team unity and entertaining performances. It is through these groups that a strong foundation of twirlers can grow and thrive. It is my hope to use my unique skills to promote the knowledge and involvement of majorette groups across the world as we continue to work to grow this great sport. My ideas include the production of training videos and a website specifically designed to assist new groups who are interested in starting a Majorette Group. It is through dedicated education for new coaches and studios that we can continue to grow this area of twirling.

As a 30+ veteran of the entertaining business with a focus on video and computer skills, I have a lot to offer in terms of abilities to increase engagement and knowledge of the disciplines within the majorette groups. My specific baton twirling experiences include
• assisting Don Sartell with AYOP from 2002 to 2023. My main roles were registration, schedule, facility setup, and the announcement of winners both within the facility and on the website which I designed and maintained.
• maintaining the rulebooks and scoresheets for NBTA.
• organized and ran the USA’s Majorette Group qualifier in July of 2024 as part of the USA organizing committee.
My twirling experience includes participation in the IBTF Majorette Group competition with the AllStars in Liverpool in 2023 with our four groups finishing with two first and a second place. In addition, the AllStars have won numerous state, regional and national championships in teams and Corps since its inception in 1998.
Outside of twirling, I have worked for several American football organizations (collegiate and professional) and affiliated companies with a focus on video and computer work for the use of training of athletes. It is with these decades of experiences that I hope to contribute.
